Freewrite 10-4-10

Its funny. Its funny, how in grade school, teachers push the idea of "its okay to be yourself". But its really not. Look at it, in society we shun the people who are "different", "awkward" or "weird". If we(society) find something wrong with them they are just not normal and cant be apart of the niceness of what our society can be.

Tyler Clementi seemed to be a nice kid. He seemed "normal". But he wasn't in some people's mind. Tyler was taken advatnaged of by his roommate allegedly "hacked" his webcam and recorded him with another guy. This was outrageous of him to do, and thought it would be really funny. But its honestly not, this breaks the rules of one privacy.

I wish i knew Tyler Clementi, maybe he needed someone to help him after this. Maybe he could have used a friend to listen and tell him it was ok, and this is just a dark point in his journey to somewhere better.
